Tree pickup details

Scout Troop 44 - Matunuck, RI

Our tree recycling event is an important community service activity and fundraiser for Troop 44. All donations go towards our program and directly supporting Scouts. On the recycle date, we will come to your house, pick-up your Christmas tree, and take it to a local farm for goat feed and/or mulch. We greatly appreciate your support and generosity!

On the day of pickup

To prepare your tree for pick-up, remove all decorations and tinsel from your tree. On the day of pickup, place your tree in a visible location at the curb. Your tree will be collected and recycled into goat feed and/or mulch. We cannot take wreaths, garlands, flocked trees, or artificial trees.
